An Aeroméxico Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft (registration XA-MFO) sustained damage to its left engine during landing at Mexico City International Airport (MEX) on April 2, 2025.
The incident occurred as the aircraft was operating flight AM363 from La Paz International Airport (LAP) to Mexico City. Upon landing on Runway 23L, the port-side (Number 1) engine suffered visible damage.
